Preview Word, Excel and PowerPoint files in Odoo Documents

The Odoo Documents app shows a generic icon for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OpenDocument files. This companion opens them from the kanban, the list and the activity views, with the same preview as in the chatter: search in the text, move between slides and sheets. Presentations and OpenDocument files get a thumbnail of their first page on the card.

Documents keeps its own access rules: no new route, no public link. The app needs Office Preview for Attachments and the Documents app of Odoo Enterprise, and installs itself as soon as both are present.

Get it on the Odoo Apps Store

Documentation and installation are on the page of your Odoo version.
